1. Who We Are

SnapCraft (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a photo editing application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the SnapCraft app and this website.

2. On-Device Processing

SnapCraft is designed to process photographs entirely on your device. Images you import into the app are not uploaded to our servers for editing. AI masking, preset rendering and export all occur locally on your iPhone or iPad.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:

• Account information — if you create an account for iCloud sync or subscription management, we may receive an anonymous user identifier from Apple.
• Purchase data — subscription status is validated through Apple's StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card details.
• Diagnostic data — crash reports and aggregate usage statistics, only if you opt in via iOS settings.
• Support correspondence — information you voluntarily provide when contacting support.

4. How We Use Information

• To validate subscriptions and unlock Pro features.
• To sync project history across your devices via iCloud, when enabled.
• To diagnose crashes and improve app stability.
• To respond to support requests.

5. iCloud Sync

If you enable project sync, your edit history and preset data are stored in your private iCloud container. This data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and security model. We do not have access to the contents of your iCloud container.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses Apple-provided services including StoreKit for purchases and CloudKit for optional sync. These services are subject to Apple's privacy policy. We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs in SnapCraft.

7. Data Retention

Diagnostic data is retained in aggregate form for up to 12 months. Support correspondence is retained for up to 24 months. On-device edits remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

9. Children's Privacy

SnapCraft is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SnapCraft iOS application and this website. By downloading, installing or using SnapCraft, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Licence Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use SnapCraft on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

SnapCraft Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You may manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its refund policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except as permitted by law.
• Use the app to process content that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law.
• Redistribute, sublicense or resell access to the app or its presets.
• Circumvent subscription validation or other technical protection measures.

5. Your Content

You retain all rights to the photographs and media you edit with SnapCraft. We claim no ownership over your content. Because editing occurs on-device, we do not access, store or process your images on our servers.

6. Presets and Intellectual Property

SnapCraft, its presets, interface design, code and branding are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Presets are licensed for use within the app and may not be extracted, redistributed or sold separately.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business opportunity, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, modify features or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We are not obligated to provide any particular feature or to maintain compatibility with older iOS versions indefinitely.

10. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. You may terminate by deleting the app. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers and liability survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
